Meaning I can use it like a real font or no?

What program did you use for the conversion, truefype? Type foundry?

I used FontCreator 5.5, which is a free download for 30 days. Here it is: [link]
Picksy drew the letters on paper with a sharpie and scanned them, and I pasted them vectorishly, so she really did all the work. (Although it is fairly easy to draw letters on a computer.) But it should work on your computer if you would like to have it -- just not for crazy commercial purposes

I might take advantage of that font creator if its for mac; but not right now.

Always wanted to create my own fonts, I've already had a bunch created for the purpose of setting.

Any font works on a Mac, not every font would work on a Windows computer though.
